Community focus for Gamescom 2011

Gamescom has unveiled its new visual branding for its 2011 iteration, highlighting the importance of its vast community.

Europe’s biggest games trade fair will sport a new leitmotif this year that shows hundreds of gamers crowded together in the form of Gamescom’s logo. The theme depicts the event at the centre of the gaming community, with the slogan: “Celebrate the games”.

The new logo was created at the beginning of December, with hundreds of fans and friends of the Gamescom organisers joining the photoshoot in Cologne. It will be used in all national and international communication campaigns promoting this year’s event.

Gamescom 2011 will take place between August 18th and August 21st. You can check out the new logo for yourself below:
