Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy claims 7th UK No.1

Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy has claimed its seventh week at No.1 in the weekly UK Top 40 charts, extending its record for the most No.1s in 2017. Sales fell by 23 per cent week-on-week, after remaining steady the week before.

New releases Agents of Mayhem and City Skylines: PlayStation 4 Edition didn’t manage to knock Activision’s juggernaut off the top spot last week, with the former only managing to make it to No.4 while the latter came in at No.20. Debuting at No.20 might not sound great, but the PS4 version of Paradox’s city sim title actually surpassed its Xbox One counterpart, which failed to make the Top 40 when it came out earlier this year.

Grand Theft Auto V, meanwhile, climbed one place back to No.2, while FIFA 17 dropped three places to No.15. Football Manager 2017, meanwhile, re-entered the charts at No.22.

Nintendo also had a good week, with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Breath of the Wild both climbing two places to No.5 and No.11 respectively, after a rise of 16 per cent in sales week-on-week for Mario Kart and a rise of 9 per cent for Zelda. Splatoon 2, meanwhile, dropped three places to No.9 after a 12 per cent dip in sales week-on-week, but 1-2-Switch jumped 12 places to No.27 after a 35 per cent increase.

Here’s the Top Ten in full:

1. Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy (Activision)
2. Grand Theft Auto V (Take-Two)
3. Fallout 4 (Bethesda)
4. Agents of Mayhem (Deep Silver)
5. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (Nintendo)
6. DOOM (Bethesda)
7. Dishonored 2 (Bethesda)
8. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege (Ubisoft)
