Curran and Guthrie step up at THQ

Scott Guthrie has been named executive vice president for North and South America and Ian Curran has stepped up to become international executive vice president in a newly-announced re-organisation of THQ’s top brass.

The moves come as executive vice president of worldwide publishing Kelly Flock steps down for personal reasons.

Ian and Scott have a combined thirty years of experience in publishing, including sales and marketing positions at leading entertainment and consumer products companies,” president and CEO of THQ Brian Farrell. Under their leadership, THQ has significantly grown sales and market share in both North America and Europe.”

Over his two-year tenure with the company, Kelly has helped build a world class publishing organization deep with talent and expertise,” added Farrell. We appreciate his contributions to the business.”
