Curve Digital joins Interface line-up, seeks developer partners

Curve Digital has joined the line-up of games publishers looking to meet with indie developers at this week’s Interface event.

Interface, which takes place on Thursday November 12th in London, is the UK’s interactive content marketplace, with private pitching, games showcase, funding advice and more.

Curve Digital will be hosting meetings with developers alongside the likes of Namco Bandai, Execution Labs, Channel 4 Games, KISS, Sold Out, Green Man Gaming and Double 11, who are all looking to sign new products at the event.

The successful debut of Interface in May saw 300 games professionals attend a unique mix of private pitch meetings, conference and a public expo with plenty of networking opportunities.

There are very few opportunities in this country for developers and publishers to speed date, so we’re delighted to once again support Interface," saidCurve Digital’s publishing director,Simon Byron. "At points during the last event, we were double or triple booked, which not only made us feel really popular, but demonstrated the need for such match making.

"We’re excited to see what’s out there this year and look forward to seeing faces old and new. Just please leave enough time for toilet breaks this time.”

Interface is structured to be as affordable as possible for games businesses of all sizes, with the basic indie expo pass free and indie tickets for the meeting system (which guarantees you a day’s schedule of private meetings with publishers looking to sign new games) priced at 59 +VAT.

Indie game expo spaces are 199 + VAT and include involvement in the meeting system.

For publishers and larger studios, an expo pass is 20 + VAT, and the meeting system rate is 149 + VAT. Publishers looking to host meetings for the day pay 500 + VAT.

The Interface Meeting System is at the heart of the day, with private meetings between delegates and hosts. NewBay Media take all the details of attendees and hosts and matchmake them, based on requirements and needs. Plus there’s a conference and public expo running throughout the day.

You can book tickets to the event here, and find out more via www.interface.events.
