David Nye moves into sales/marketing at AFA

Brave Vision MD David Nye has been working with AFA Interactive for 7 years, and has now moved into sales/marketing.

Robert Allford, MD of AFA Interactive, told MCV: "David has been a major contributor to the marketing strategies that have launched AFA to a major force in the video game industry in Australia."

"His wealth of knowledge and experience will be a valuable contribution to planned growth in 2012, and we are excited to have him lead our sales and marketing teams."

The first task for Nye as Sales and Marketing Manager for AFA will be to cultivate new business in the UK with a trip to London from the 6th-10th of February, with an aim to bolster the company's portfolio of titles in Asia Pacific.

Nye commented: "We're undertaking this trade mission to London this week, and extend an invitation to European publishers and content owners to meet, discuss and explore potential distribution opportunities within the Asia Pacific region."

Nye began his career co-founding Sold Out Software in the UK, emigrating to Australia in 2000 and producing several videogame TV shows including the long-running Control Freaks, as well as publishing several mobile games to be pushed into Asia and providing marketing services to multiple companies in the local games industry.
