He will be replaced by Fujio Nishida who currently serves as EVP, Corporate Executive in charge of Electronics Marketing at Sony Corporation in Tokyo.
“Chris Deering has made brilliant contributions to Sony Corporation throughout his career as president of Sony Europe, President and later Chairman of SCEE and as a senior executive at Sony Pictures,” said Sir Howard Stringer, chairman and CEO of Sony Corporation.
