The founder of digital games developer Q-Games has warned that Sony faces the loss of a number of loyal PSN developers if it does not take action to help those affected by the PSN outage.
Speaking to Industry Gamers, Dylan Cuthbert admitted that the PSN problems had "definitely" affected Q-Games’ bottom line. The studio has released a number of titles on PSN and also has a presence on PlayStation Home.
It has also worked directly with Sony on its XMB interface and music visualised tech on PS3.
"At the moment I think they are running around patching holes etc., and in a week or two they’ll have something more concrete to say," he explained.
"I have no idea yet what Sony are going to do to help developers such as ourselves but I have a feeling they are thinking about doing something or they will lose developers which of course is pretty bad for them."
Yesterday Capcom admitted that that the PSN outage could have cost it "millions of dollars" of lost revenue.
