Developers flock to Brighton

Developers flock to Brighton

Everyone from small indie iPhone developers to format owners and global games publishers are heading off to the UK's south coast this week.

The Hilton Metropole in Brighton will play host to the biggest ever Develop Industry Excellence Awards and Develop Conference.

A handful of tickets are still award for the big night on Wednesday July 14th, whilst the conference itself runs from Tuesday July 13th to Thursday July 15th.

The conference boasts keynotes from senior execs at Pixar, the BBC, Jagex, Rare and Bioware, plus an exclusive Fable III demo from Peter Molyneux and a first public games address from newly-installed Minister for Culture, Communications and Creative Industries, Ed Vaizey.

At the Develop Awards, companies of all sizes will be battling it out across a range of categories that cover everything from Creativity to Technology, Services, Studios and Outsourcing (see full list below).

Broadcaster and comedian Rufus Hound will host the evening, while sponsors include Autodesk, Amiqus, Babel Media, Direct 2 Drive, Imagination Studios and Realtime UK.

Tables for groups are now highly limited, but to check for availability or purchase single tickets please contact Kathryn.Humphrey@intentmedia.co.uk
