Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition release date confirmed

Capcom has confirmed a precise release date for Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition.

The PS4, Xbox One and Steam title will arrive in both Europe and North America on June 23rd. It’ll cost 19.99 on all three platforms, the Capcom blog states.

There are also assorted pre-order perks – namely some costumes and, on PS4, a custom theme.

Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition comes with a slew of graphical and gameplay additions.

Alongside the two playable characters from the game’s original 2008 release – Nero and Dante – fans will be able to play as the series protagonist’s samurai sword-wielding twin brother Vergil. He was last playable – in this form at least – in the Special Edition of Devil May Cry 3: Dante’s Awakening.

Devil May Cry’s Trish and Devil May Cry 3’s Lady are both also available, bringing the playable character count up to five.
