The Japanese platform holder has also announced the latest sales figures for its successful Nintendogs series, which amount to a huge three million copies in total. Meanwhile its latest Touch Generations title Brain Training has already been snapped up by over 250,000 people across Europe, and UK top ten stalwart Animal Crossing has shifted over 600,000.
“During Nintendo DS Lite launch weekend, retailers across Europe said that they had never seen such a vast array of different people buying the product, everyone from business men to young women to grandfathers.” said Nintendo of Europe’s European marketing director Laurent Fischer.
