The game offers fundamentally the same formula as is seen in fellow Koei titles Dynasty Warrior and Samurai Legends, but replaces the classical Japanese setting with a robot-based sci-fi war field.
“Koei’s next gen assault was spearheaded by Dynasty Warriors: Gundam in 2007 to tremendous effect with it proving to be a huge hit across the globe,” Koei’s sales manager Will Curley stated. “With every feature within the game ramped up to the max Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 2 will be bigger, better and more spectacular in every way.”
