The title, which is now in development for PS3 and Xbox 360, sees gamers take control of war veteran Alex Shepherd, who is on a quest to find his missing younger brother.
An enhanced combat system will feature, alongside enhanced puzzles and an all-new soundtrack by celebrated composer Akira Yamaoka.
No firm release date was given for the game.
