EA new IP Fuse due March next year

Just when you thought Q1 next year was busy enough, EA has announced yet another promising new title for March 2013.

Fuse is a new IP from the developers of Resistance and Ratchet and Clank, Insomniac. It is the studio’s first multi-platform release, with its previous games exclusive to PlayStation platforms. The game is a four-player co-op action game, where players can switch between characters.

It joins a raft of EA games coming out in Q1 next year, including Crysis 3, Sim City, Dead Space 3 and Army of Two: Devil’s Cartel. Other big name brands set for Q1 includes Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, Tomb Raider, BioShock: Infinite, Devil May Cry, Gears of War: Judgment, South Park: The Stick of Truth, Aliens: Colonial Marines, and Star Trek.

Insomniac CEO Ted Price said: "Fuse demonstrates what Insomniac does best: outlandish and gruesome weapons design, over-the-top action and a touch of humor. We’re especially excited to see how players utilize lethal teamwork by combining their Fuse weapons to stop a deadly arms race."
