EA: NFS Limited Edition races into view

The Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit Limited Edition will arrive alongside the game this November, says EA.

The publisher detailed the special SKU during its Gamescom press conference. The Limited Edition will arrive alongside the upcoming racer on November 19th and unlocks new and exclusive cars that can be used in-game.

There will be six vehicles available as soon as consumers start the game, including the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione, Ford Shelby GT500, Audi TT RS Coup, Chevrolet Camaro SS, Porshe Cayman S and Dodge Challenger SRT8.

The Competizione and Shelby will only be available in the Limited Edition – all the others can be unlocked towards the latter end of the game.

Hot Pursuit is the first Need For Speed game to be developed by acclaimed racing developers Criterion. It challenges players to take on the role of cops or racers in a wide range of intense pursuits, both online and offline.
