EA Partners boss steps down

The head of EA Partners David DeMartini has stepped down, it has been confirmed.

His replacement is already in place – EA Games' senior VP and COO Brian Neider. DeMartini will adopt an unspecified new commercial role within the publisher.

The EA Partners division is responsible for teaming EA with independent developers and has resulted in releases such as Epic's Bulletstorm, Harmonix's Rock Band, Realtime Worlds' APB, Flagship's Hellgate London and Valve duo The Orange Box and Left 4 Dead.

It's also behind Crytek's upcoming shooter Crysis 2 and currently has agreements in place with Ratchet & Clank creators Insomniac Games and Jason West and Vince Zampella's Respawn Entertainment.
