The publishing giant has been ramping up its mobile division, recruiting Frank Sagnier back in May to head up the operation.
Some reports have suggested that EA is to buy Superscape, following the UK mobile outfit’s recent share price plunge.
But analysts aren’t confident that the deal would be a good fit. “What EA needs are ready-made relationships with operators and expertise in the messy area of mobile. There are more suitable candidates for this than Superscape,” said Stuart O’Brien editor of Mobile Entertainment.
