EA’s chart grip remains

However, a strong performance from Ubisoft’s Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter on Xbox 360, which debuts at number two, prevented EA from securing what would have been a record-breaking eight of the top ten chart titles.

The EA triple-whammy of Fight Night Round 3, Black and The Sims 2: Open for Business secured third, fourth and fifth places respectively, with Fight Night debuting in the charts and the other pair slipping two places.

The only other new releases in this week’s charts are both PSP retro titles – Sony’s Lemmings debuts at number 12 whilst Capcom’s Street fighter Alpha Max 3 arrives in 28th spot.
