ESL One New York breaks digital engagement records

ESL One New York, which took place in the Barclays Center last weekend, brought in six million unique viewers and broke engagement records.

Online viewership peaked at more than 450,000 concurrent viewers, which is presumably split across both the CS:GO and Street Fighter V action. This translated into six million unique viewers, with eight million hours of content watched.

ESL One New York was also responsible for record breaking social media engagement with 122 million impressions generated on ESL’s Twitter and Facebook channels. Nearly 80,000 Twitter accounts tweeted about the event in some way, bring the total number of tweets about ESL One New York to around the 182,000 mark. This makes ESL One New York one of the most talked about events in ESL history.
