European 360 sales slump?

Ben Parfitt
Numbers quoted on online sales tracker VGChartz claim that for the week ending October 21st Microsoft’s Xbox 360 console sold just 37,303 units across Europe – managing to outsell only Nintendo’s aged Game Boy Advance in the period.

The site claims that in the same period Wii sold 70,322 units whilst the PS3 enjoyed a resurgence following the release of the new 40GB model, selling 64,087 units. PS2 reportedly racked up 57,152 units and the PSP 54,449.

DS lead the way, however, shifting a massive 171,260 machines.
