F1 2013 dated for October

Codemasters has announced the release date for this year’s Formula One video game.

F1 2013 will be released for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on October 4th in the UK, a little later than the series’ usual September launch.

As previously reported, Codemasters is releasing two versions of this year’s game: the standard F1 2013 and the Classic Edition, which features historic drivers, cars and tracks rom the 1980s and 1990s.

The Classic Edition content will be made available as optional DLC for F1 2013 buyers.

Namco Bandai is handling the game’s distribution in the UK.
