FFXI goes continental

The English language version of Final Fantasy XI went live in Europe in September 2004, and the launch of these foreign language versions will greatly enhance the market reach for the popular MMO.

From early March existing French or German players of the game will be able to download language conversion software for the PC or Xbox 360 version of the game from the PlayOnline network free of charge.

A dedicated foreign language retail version will be released in Germany and France at the end of March.
