FIFA 14 still top as UK Top 7 remains unchanged

There’s little change at top of the UKIE GfK ChartTrack All Formats Top 40 as 2014 carries on more or less precisely as 2013 left off.

The Top seven games remain exactly as they were last week, with EA’s FIFA 14 leading the pack ahead of Call of Duty: Ghosts, Assassin’s Creed IV, Battlefield 4, Grand Theft Auto V, Need for Speed: Rivals and LEGO Marvel Super Heroes.

FIFA 14 sales are up 21 per cent versus FIFA 13 is the same week last year, with new formats continuing to provide a decent year-on-year boost to the overall market.

ChartTrack adds that GTA V is currently the fourth biggest selling game ever in the UK and predicts that it could claims the all-time No.1 crown within the next three months.

Note that Xbox One exclusives Forza 5 and Dead Rising 3 both chart higher (11th and 13th) than the highest PS4 exclusive Killzone: Shadow Fall (21st).
