First gameplay footage of Angry Birds Star Wars

There’s certainly no accusing Rovio of creating a shameless cash-in.

The first gameplay trailer for Angry Birds Star Wars is here, and it suggests a huge amount of work has gone into integrating George Lucas’ intergalactic licence into the gameplay.

In the video we see a Luke Skywalker bird attack a structure with his lightsaber on a Tatooine-based level and Princess Leia down at huge four-legged AT-AT on the ice planet Hoth, with a Darth Vader pig in attendance

Angry Birds Star Wars will be released on November 8th for iOS, Android, Windows Phone, Kindle Fire, PC and Mac.
