First Sydney Angel Sidecar Fund given to Bubble Gum Interactive

After already having received substantial funding from investors, Bubble Gum Interactive now reports it has received an additional AUD$200’000.

The developer announced that Sydney Angel Sidecar Fund, an AUD$10 million fund looking to disperse amongst early stage business ventures over the next 5 years, has chosen to invest in Bubble Gum’s current project: Little Space Heroes.

Jeremy Colless, a member of Sydney Angels, said: Bubble Gum Interactive has created an amazing new gaming experience with enormous global potential. They have an excellent team covering creative, technical and business disciplines and are targeting a market that continues to grow very quickly."

Phil Mason, Bubble Gum Interactive Executive Producer and Technology Director,added: Their investment demonstrates the strong business potential of Little Space Heroes, our new virtual world for kids under 12.”

Little Space Heroes is a free virtual online universe created for kids, and is expected to launch in late 2011.
