Football MMO to score hit at retail

Ben Parfitt

UK based newcomer Cybersports will release a retail box product of its forthcoming MMO Football Superstars alongside the downloadable version.

Buyers will also get some game credit with the £10.00 box product when it is released in Q2 next year.

“It will be cheap because we don’t actually need to make any money from the distribution of the box,” said Cybersport’s CEO Malcolm Clark.

He added that the publisher is in on going talks with distributors: “It would be interesting if there’s anyone else who thinks they could do a good job in getting the product out to people.”
