Microsoft has announced a partnership with BMW that will see its upcoming 2012 M5 model appear first in Forza 4.
Those who buy the £59.99 Limited Collector's Edition will also gain access to 25 additional cars, with the 2012 M5 appearing as the cover star of the SKU – which is a GAME and Gamestation exclusive.
Those who don't buy the LCE will be able to purchase the M5 as part of the day one BMW M5 Fan Pack DLC.
Also included in the download is Autovista Mode, where BBC pundit Jeremy Clarkson takes players on a virtual tour of a number of top sports cars.
As well as coming in a steenbok the LCE will feature, amongst others, the following additional cars: Bugatti Veyron Super Sport, Ferrari 458 Challenge, Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera, Noble M600, RUF Rt 12 R, 1965 Ford Mustang GT Coupe, Koenigsegg Agera, some custom-designed BMWs and a ten-strong American muscle car pack.
VIP membership of the Forza community, a Top Gear themed Forza 4 book and vinyl stickers are also included.
“At BMW we are thrilled to offer fans the first chance, whether it’s in game or on the road, to experience the brand new BMW M5 in Forza Motorsport 4,” the general manager of BMW Sportmarketing & Cooperation Ralf Hussmann stated.
“Forza Motorsport players are some of the most loyal and passionate automotive fans in the world, so the choice to partner with Turn 10 Studios to feature our car in the game and on the cover of the Limited Collector’s Edition was an obvious win for BMW."
Those who pre-order the regular Forza 4 SKU from selected retailers will also receive one of the following digital freebies: Subaru Impreza WRX STI (GAME), MINI John Cooper Works Clubman (Gamestation), Alfa Romeo Giulietta Quadrifoglio Verde (Amazon), Honda CR-Z EX (HMV) and BMW 1 Series M Coupe (The Hut, Zavvi.com, Shopto.net and Play.com).
Forza 4 will be released on October 14th.
