Discussing its upcoming shift of focus for PlayStation Home, the platform holder has demoed a couple of the new titles heading to the service.
And Shack News reports that one of them – Bootleggers – is a free-to-play fist person shooter that lets gamers take direct control of their Home avatar as they attempt to slay the avatars of their rivals.
Shack describes it as “a surprisingly violent twist to the PlayStation Home world – seeing Home's somewhat stiff participants fall under a blaze of gunfire is something I'd never expected to see in Sony's virtual world”.
The game will take residence in Home’s new ‘Action’ hub which itself takes the form of a run-down city slum.
Note, too, that the game if not ‘freemium’ – it will be 100 per cent free-to-play, which itself makes up for the game’s simplistic nature.
