Only six months ago, American eSports team Counter Logic Gaming (CLG) was less than fifteen days from declaring bankruptcy. The team decided to continue pursuing their passion of playing competitive video games despite a gloomy financial outlook. It has paid off.
The CLG team is now preparing to take part in the League of Legends World Championships in Berlin, Germany with the hope of winning a sizable portion of a $2.1 million prize pool.
