Future launches new on-console PS3 show

Access - a new on-console PS3 show from Future Publishing - goes live this afternoon.

Free to all UK PSN account holders, Access will be available every Wednesday and is hosted by comedian Lucy Porter. The show lets consumers check out the latest titles, industry events and SCE UK's growing access community. The Access community exists on Facebook.

The first episode looks at Resistance 3,FIFA 12 and the SCE UK Access tour.

Each episode is scheduled to last ten minutes, and will contain HD previews, interviews and features for boxed titles, PSN games and Blu-ray movies.

Part of the deal will mean some of this content will be made available across Future's other publications, namely CVG and Gamesradar.

“We’re hugely proud of the market-leading video content we’re producing and this is the perfect showcase for it," said Future's games publisher Simon Maxwell.

"Access reaches PlayStation 3 owners directly at their consoles, offering a completely unique experience, and further bolsters Future’s reputation for multi-platform innovation.”

SCE UK's Alan Duncan added: “The show is a key part of our Access project delivering high quality original content covering everything that’s happening on PlayStation in the UK. It also gives our partners a new opportunity to reach key PlayStation gamers.”
