The dedicated video games area of upcoming event The Gadget Show Live is nearing sellout, organisers have claimed.
The Game Zone apparently has only four stands remaining unsold. Companies already booked include Capcom, Epic Games, Game and Turtle Beach. The show area will also feature a free play retro games area and an eSports tournament.
Three high-profile games from Capcom will be playable on the show floor, too – Remember Me, Resident Evil Revelations and Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen. Other show features include the chance to sample Igloo’s 360 degree gaming dome and try the “authentic combat experience” Battlefield Live.
There will also be a chance to buy games, with 10 per cent off offered to all attendees.
“This is an incredibly exciting year for the games industry as Microsoft and Sony finally put gamers out of their misery and launch the next generation consoles, so it’s no surprise that the Game Zone is so close to selling out,” Gadget Show Live organiser Spncer Hidge stated.
“We’re expecting tens of thousands of gadget lovers through the Gadget Show Live doors over Easter, the majority of whom are avid gamers, so it really is an unmissable opportunity to get games brands in front of customers who are keen to both try and buy,”
