Taking place on the opening day of the conference, the forum will see ELSPA's director general Michael Rawlinson present a session titled 'Serious games, game based learning & ELSPA', while Patrice Chazerand, secretary general, ISFE, will chair a discussion named 'Theory, market research and real life: A case study in game based learning.'
"With more than 300 delegates attending this first Game Based Learning Conference we have succeeded in bringing together the key players from both the video game and education sectors into a rich discussion about the future of both industries and how they will interrelate moving forward bringing huge benefits to both," enthused conference director Graham Brown-Martin.
"As part of this interactive discussion we are hosting an Industry Forum on Thursday afternoon with contributions from ISFE and ELSPA that is intended to get under the nails of the how gaming and learning are closing in on each other and what this means for the industry. For those considering how to expand and enter new markets that are resilient to current conditions, attendance at this forum is essential."
Game Based Learning takes place from March 19th to 20th at The Brewery in east London.
