GAME begins selling Battle.net gift cards

UK retailer GAME has added to its already extensive digital cards offer with the introduction of Battle.net credit.

Sold in denominations of 15, the credit can be redeemed via Blizzard’s online games service for titles such as Starcraft II, Diablo III, Hearthstone and World of Warcraft.

Bringing Battle.net gift cards to our store shelves gives gamers even more ways to purchase digital content through GAME,” the chain’s chief digital officer Ian Chambers said.

We’re opening up digital to more and more customers through whichever channel they shop in and giving them a wide range of ways to pay for it. For those who are yet to embrace digital gaming, our expert store teams are on hand to give advice and help customers discover just what’s on offer.”

GAME already offers both game codes and store credit for services such as Xbox Live, PlayStation Network and Nintendo’s eShop as well as credit for the likes of Steam and the Apple App Store, as well as in-game credit for a host of social networking and casual games.
