GAME hosting WoW Cataclysm launch event

Video games specialist GAME will host the official launch event for Blizzard’s World of Warcraft: Cataclysm on the night of December 6th.

Taking place at Sound in Leicester Square, doors will open at 10:00pm. Inside gamers will be able to enjoy their first hands-on with the expansion. There will also be a range of WoW merchandise on sale, a costume contest and some photo opportunities.

Blizzard has also teamed up with key retail partners in the US, Canada, France, Germany, Russia, Sweden, the Netherlands and Taiwan for midnight launch events.

After two years of development, we’re excited to now be just two weeks away from releasing our best World of Warcraft expansion yet,” Blizzard CEO and co-founder Mike Morhaime stated.

Cataclysm will add a huge amount of new content to the game and change the face of Azeroth forever, and we can’t wait to celebrate this launch with players around the world.”
