GAME offers 360 games for 99p

The offer entitles gamers to pick up any new Xbox 360 title for 99p when they trade in any two 360 titles from their existing collection. The only stipulation is that the games must be in what shop assistants are describing as ‘good condition’.

The aggressive move will further fan the flames of the debate over the UK trade in pre-owned software, which has seen publishers call for the practice to be outlawed, blaming it for price erosion on new releases, while many retailers claim it is essential for their survival.
