The industry recruitment frenzy continued unabated this week, with GAME the latest to announce a number of new positions for key executives.
A major restructuring of the senior management team sees deputy CEO Lisa Morgan assume sole responsibility for the UK, becoming UK managing director.
Former head of buying Tricia Brennan is promoted to UK buying director, with Alex Croft taking on the new role of managing director of group online business, with responsibility for game.net, Gameplay and European online business development.
Meanwhile, chief executive Martin Long will focus on Group strategy, supported by Morgan and group finance director David Thomas, with particular focus on continental Europe, assisted by Euro MD Mark Spence and Euro property director Nick Martel.
“There are many exciting prospects facing our industry in the months ahead, with the impending launch of PSP and the future launches of both Xbox 360 and PS2,” commented chief executive Martin Long.
