Games out this week in ANZ...

It's going to be a huge week at retail this week, with Forza 4, Pro Evo 12, Skylanders, Might & Magic Heroes VI, Ace Combat: Assault Horizon, Just Dance 3 and many more hitting shelves.

Pro Evolution Soccer 12 is gearing up to try and take on FIFA 12, and is focusing its attention on players being able to dictate the pace of movement. It is releasing on Thursday 13th October for PS3 and 360 (AUD$99.95 or NZD$129), or 3DS and PSP (AUD$49.95).

Forza Motorsport 4 is delivering Microsoft's latest Gran Turismo rival also on Thursday with a slew of new features. Limited editions are available with premium downloadable content in a steelbook case, plus it's can be found bundled with a wireless wheel. Forza 4 releases on Xbox 360 for AUD$99.95 or AUD$109.95 for the standard edition.

Activision's incredibly bold blending of toys and videogames is also releasing on Thursday, and allows players to have their toys be used in-game and carry experience from one platform to another. The opening pack comes with 3 figurines, the game and the power-pad for AUD$99.95 or NZD$130 for 360, PS3, Wii and 3DS.

The Heroes of Might & Magic series has a re-brand and a new title, with Might & Magic Heroes VI for PC also hitting shelves for AUD$89.95 or NZD$99.95.

Just Dance also continues to thrive, with Just Dance 3 hitting on 360 and Wii on Tuesday 11th October for AUD$69.95 or NZD$79.95. A PS3 version is due later in the year.

Other notable titles landing this week are Red Dead Redemption: Game of the Year Edition and Ace Combat: Assault Horizon, both for PS3 and 360, as well as the delightful Double Fine production of Sesame Street: Once Upon a Monster for Kinect on 360.

Finally, a special mention has to go out to the Friday 14th October release date for the iPhone 4S, which will undoubtedly be many gamers' one allowable major purchase for the week in lieu of that $100 game they were pondering.
