Sony Europe's Phil Harrison and Namco's Keita Takahashi are to deliver keynotes at this year's Game Developers Conference Europe.
Harrison, executive VP for development at Sony Europe, will speak about next generation development and the state of the European interactive entertainment community during his Q&A keynote session on Wednesday August 31.
Meanwhile, on the Thursday (September 1st) the creator of Namco’s phenomenally successful Katamari Damashii, Keita Takahashi, will offer a detailed inside look into the development process for the game as well as offering a preview of the new gameplay innovations to feature in the highly anticipated sequel, We Love Katamari.
GDCE director Jamil Moledina commented: “Visionary speakers such as Phil and Keita form the nucleus of current game creation and are ideally positioned to inform and influence.”
Attendees of the conference will also gain access to innovative sessions drawn from successes made by the developers of several titles including Killzone, Singstar and Project Gotham Racing 3. The three days of lectures, keynotes, panels and tutorials will share practical information and artistic inspiration within a forum exclusively focused on Europe.
