It’s not only a big day for game releases – today also sees the launch of the brand new 12GB Super Slim PS3.
Available only in Europe, this new model is the first to favour flash memory instead of a hard drive. And whilst some retailers are charging close to £200 for the SKU, others have dramatically driven down the price.
Amazon is selling the new console for just £159.99 delivered, while Zavvi undercuts that price by a further 14p.
Meanwhile, Morrisons – according to a tweet from PSM3 magazine – is selling the new console for just £158 in stores today.
Toys R Us also has a good in-store bundle on the go, offering the 12GB machine and a copy of chart-topper FIFA 13 for just £179.99.
