GMAs 2009: One Life Left named Best Games Broadcast

After two years being nominated, but never winning, Europe's only FM games-focused radio show One Life Left was named best games broadcast at last nights Games Media Awards.

The show, hosted by Ste Curran, Simon Byron and Ann Scantlebury, is also a popular podcast distributed through iTunes.

"Thank you very much for everyone who voted and thanks to our team," said Curran, who was joined by his co-hosts on stage to collect the award.

The Games Media Awards were held at Jongleurs, Camden, and hosted hundreds of the UK's games media and marketing and PR execs.

Key sponsors were Bethesda's WET, Activision's DJ Hero, Electronic Arts, Formula One 2009 from Codemasters, IL-2 Stumovik from 505 Games, Namco Bandai, New Super Mario Bros Wii from Nintendo, Saw from Konami, Scribblenauts from Warner Bros., Sega, Ubisoft, and Xbox 360.
