Grand Theft Auto exhibited in Victoria & Albert Museum

The Grand Theft Auto series is now part of an exhibition exploring more than 60 years of British design.

Rockstar announced that its hugely successful games are now on display in London’s Victoria & Albert Museum as part of the new collection, British Design 1948 – 2012: Innovation in the Modern Age.

This exhibition highlights the UK’s achievements in art and design in the post-war era, from the 1948 Austerity Games to this summer’s Olympic Games. It kicked off on March 31st and will run until August 12th.

The GTA section showcases each title in the series and how the open world gameplay and living virtual cities have evolved. There is also a commemorative video chronicling the history of Grand Theft Auto.
