Pioneering digital retailer Green Man Gaming has launched a second generation version of its website.
Arriving nearly a year after the firm began trading, the new-look site boasts several additional features. One of them will see customers contacted after purchase, asked to write a review of their new game – and offered credit as a reward.
It also features personalised offers and incentives designed to drive pre-orders and new sales, plus a ‘refer a friend’ scheme, which will also be rewarded with credits.
Managing director Paul Sulyok told MCV: “Green Man Gaming is the first digital retailer to allow customers to monetise their portfolio of PC games. In doing so, we deliver genuine retail choice in a world of ‘me-too’ digital retailers.
