GTA hunts down Prey

The Take Two-published duo claim the top two places in a decent week for the publisher, while Nintendo’s consistent showing in the top ten continues with DS titles New Super Mario Bros. and Brain Training each dropping a place to three and six respectively.

The cinematic release of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest boosts the BVG title up four places to take fourth position, while fellow movie licence Activision’s Over the Hedge drops two spots to number five this week.

And football fans eager to warm up for the forthcoming Premiership season are also having their say, with solid chart twosome Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer 5 and EA’s FIFA World Cup 2006 sticking around in the top ten for yet another week, at seven and eight respectively.

Completing the top sellers this week is EA’s rejuvenated LOTR: Battle for Middle Earth II at nine following its Xbox 360 release, and Ubisoft’s take on the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise with PS2 title The Legend of Jack Sparrow at ten.
