Worldwide sales of epic action title Grand Theft Auto IV have now hit 15m, publisher Take-Two confirmed as part of its financial report last night.
The game was first released in April 2008 and stands as one of the most critically and commercially successful titles this generation.
More recent release BioShock 2, which arrived at UK retail late last month, has already sold 3m copies since release. Added to the 4m sales of the first game and total sales for the BioShock franchise now stand at around 7m.
There was success too for Borderlands, which has now passed the 2m sales barrier. The game “continues to sell well” and will receive yet more DLC in the future, the publisher confirmed.
