Hearthstone arrives on Android tablets

Blizzard’s World of Warcraft spin-off Hearthstone has been released on Android tablets at last.

The game is currently only available in a few territories – namely Australia, New Zealand and Canada – but will likely rollout to all in the coming days. Those who download the Android version will get a free pack of Classic cards.

The Android version includes the recently released Goblins vs Gnomes content as well as the previously released single player content Curse of the Naxxramas.

The game will run on Android 4.0 (although 5.0 is recommended) tablets with 1GB+ of RAM and a 6-inch or larger screen. Support is confirmed for Amazon Kindle Fire HD 6, HD 7 and HDX devices alongside the Nexus 7, Nvidia Shield and select Galaxy Notes.

A release on iOS and Android smartphones is planned for next year.
