New game emerges as the group tells Develop that The Conduit could grow into a Wii franchise

High Voltage will debut new IP at E3

North American Wii developer High Voltage will be showcasing previously unannounced IP at the upcoming E3 event in Los Angeles.

High Voltage, based in the US state of Illinois, is best known for its work on the upcoming Wii FPS title The Conduit. In an interview with Develop published today, both High Voltage’s founder Kerry Ganofsky and Chief Creative Officer Eric Nofsinger talk in depth about expectations for the game, and add that there’s a chance that it could grow into a franchise of its own.

“We are not announcing anything at this time,” Nofsinger told Develop. “That being said, the fan response has been incredible for the game and it would not be out of the realm of possibility to turn The Conduit into a franchise.”

Whether The Conduit will become a franchise or not, High Voltage now be showing completely new IP at E3 in closed-door presentations.

“2009 is already shaping up to be a groundbreaking year for this studio,” said Ganofsky. “We feel that E3 is the perfect opportunity to show off our hard work and give a taste of our very latest project.”

Nofsinger added that High Voltage is going to push its technology “to the absolute limit” with the new IP.
