PS3 owners will be able to download House of the Dead 3 exclusively via PSN next month, with its sequel to follow in spring.
Sega’s popular arcade zombie shooter title The House of the Dead 3 will arrive on the PlayStation Network on February 7th, featuring HD graphics, trophies and Move support. The House of the Dead 4 will make its console debut when it lands on PSN this spring, and will also come with these new features.
The House of the Dead 3 originally hit arcades in 2002 and was later released on Xbox and Wii.
“The House of the Dead has always been one of Sega’s most popular series, and over the years we have worked hard to bring that full arcade experience to console owners,” said Sega of America’s senior VP of digital business Haruki Satomi.
“The abilities of the PS3, as well as PlayStation Move, have let us get closer than ever before. The only thing these titles are missing is a need for quarters.”
