IGN has become the platinum sponsor for London’s Kapow Comic Con which kicks off in April.
The games media giant will also get its own IGN Arena on the event floor, where companies will be able to showcase their latest games and films. The IGN UK website will also feature its own Kapow hub.
Kapow Comic Con will take place at the Islington Design Centre in London on the weekend of April 9th and 10th.
More than 10,000 attendees will be able to view the latest comic books and the films, TV shows and games inspired by them.
“Ticket sales have been phenomenally successful since we publicly launched at the end of last year and it is brilliant to now welcome IGN as our platinum sponsor,” said Kapow director Lucy Unwin.
“The IGN Arena brings publishers and studios an affordable, high-impact opportunity to promote their products to those visiting the event.”
IGN’s UK marketing director Rich Keen added: “We’re delighted to be supporting Kapow in bringing the Comic Con experience to central London for the first time.
“Our coverage of the show across IGN.com will reach 28 million readers globally, putting Kapow Comic Con firmly on the map as a major event for fans around the world.”
