Ignition announces Deadly Premonition

US publisher Ignition Entertainment has released the first details of its newest title, Deadly Premonition.

Released in conjunction with Marvelous Entertainment, the game is an Xbox 360-exclusive third-person survival horror title that puts players in the role of an FBI agent investigating a murder.

Gamers must discover the secrets connecting several mysteries in a remote rural town, and choose to evade enemies stealthily or attack them with long-range weapons or melee combat.

Deadly Premonition is an intense and unforgettable action that we are thrilled to add to Ignition’s 2010 line-up,” said Ignition’s new business development director Shane Bettenhausen.

The gifted developers at Access Games have created a game that will undoubtedly heighten players’ sense as they dive deeper into the mysterious town, eerie storyline and action-packed interactive elements.”

Deadly Premonition is due for release in North America in early 2010.
