InDin award winners revealed

300 top games industry executives assembled at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London to toast the event’s 22nd year and in particular the three recipients of the prestigious Industry Achievement, Industry Merit and Hall of Fame accolades.

Ubisoft president and CEO Yves Guillemot claimed the Industry Achievement Award, having guided the French publisher from its beginnings in 1986 right up to its current position as a top player in the games publishing world.

Also on hand to pick up an award was Fred Hasson, founder of developers’ trade association TIGA in 2001 and current CEO. He scooped the Industry Merit Award.
Last but by no means least, industry legend and former ELSPA chairman Roger Bennett was inducted into the Hall of Fame, joining the likes of Chris Deering, Toby Gard and the Darling brothers.
