GamesAid’s latest fundraising venture has been revealed – a UK games industry choir.
The group will give its first performance at the GamesAid Christmas Concert, which takes place on Wednesday December 19th at St Stephen's, Rosslyn Hill. Tickets cost £20 per adult and £10 for under 16s and are available now from www.justgiving.com/christmasconcert.
The event is sponsored by Ubisoft, EA, Sega, Mastertronic, OnLive and IGN.
IGN’s international VP and MD Ian Chambers, who masterminded the initiative, stated: “What started as a dream in March is now becoming reality. 24 people from the games industry, most of whom have never sung in a choir before will take centre stage in front of their peers. Games On Song is already proving that singing can bring people together like nothing else.”
